The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

We tore out the built-in jacuzzi and its tile deck and set a freestanding tub under the window. The old framed shower came down to the studs and went back up bigger — marble-look porcelain walls, a bench, a flat-pebble stone floor, and a frameless glass enclosure. A white double vanity, framed mirrors, and a glass chandelier finish the room.
