The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

This master bath started with a corner jacuzzi and a cramped framed shower stall. We gutted it to the studs, waterproofed with Schluter KERDI, and built a doorless walk-in shower with a ceiling rain head, two wall heads, six body sprays, a handheld, and a tiled bench over a hex mosaic floor. A black freestanding tub, dual black vanities with vessel sinks, and a stacked-stone accent wall finish the room in matte black and gray.
