The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

The crew carved a dedicated laundry room out of a garage bay, framing new stud walls and running fresh plumbing for the washer hookup and drain lines. From there it moved through insulation, drywall, and paint, with new electrical outlets and a dryer vent set in the walls. The photo set ends at the painted-drywall stage, before flooring and final fixtures went in.
