The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

We pulled the old tub and beige surround out to the studs and rebuilt the wet wall as a full walk-in shower. Large-format marble-look porcelain runs floor to ceiling, with two recessed niches lined in blue hex mosaic and a penny-round tile pan underfoot. A brushed-brass rain head, slide-bar handheld, and frameless sliding door finish the shower, with a matching double vanity and gold-framed mirrors outside the glass.
