The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

This Haymarket master bath had a builder-grade corner jacuzzi and a framed shower stall crowding the back wall. We gutted it to the studs, moved the plumbing, and built one open wet room in its place — a freestanding tub and two complete shower stations on a single stepped platform, wrapped in glossy black tile with white arabesque accent columns. A marble-look herringbone mosaic floor, brass-tone fixtures, and a wood double vanity with arched mirrors finish it out.
