The brief

They wanted the room they'd been describing to friends for years.

The old basement bath had a framed shower stall, a pedestal sink, and brick-look vinyl flooring. We rebuilt it with a frameless corner glass shower — marble-look porcelain walls, a hex mosaic pan, and a recessed niche — plus a driftwood vanity with a quartz top, brass fixtures, and a navy accent wall. A second tub-shower bath got the same grey tile and niche treatment.
